An animated film about Brazil’s military dictatorship
Meu Tio José tells the story of José Sebastião Rio de Moura, a member of the left-wing movement Dissidência da Guanabara. He took part in the kidnapping of US ambassador Charles Elbrick in 1969 and lived abroad in exile for ten years. After returning to Brazil, he was attacked and killed.
