Description
The Sigma 18–35mm f/1.8 DC HSM Art for Canon EF combines a fast, versatile wide-angle-to-normal zoom range with a constant f/1.8 maximum aperture. It is suitable for low-light work and strong depth-of-field control throughout the zoom range.
Its optical design uses five SLD (Special Low Dispersion) elements and four aspherical elements to suppress chromatic aberration, distortion and colour fringing while improving sharpness and clarity. Super Multi-Layer coating reduces flare and ghosting for better contrast and colour fidelity, including backlit scenes.
The Hyper Sonic Motor (HSM) and internal focusing system deliver fast, quiet, precise autofocus with full-time manual focus. As part of Sigma Global Vision’s Art line, it is designed for demanding creative photography and video.
Designed for Canon EF APS-C cameras, it offers a 28.8–56mm equivalent focal range. Its rounded nine-blade diaphragm provides smooth bokeh, while thermally stable composite construction offers durability.
